A PASSIONATE researcher wants younger generations to get to grips with the past, in the future.
Daniel O’Neill, 25, of Peacock Mews, Leighton, is desperate not to let Leighton’s local history die out.
He has been researching and writing for the past six months in preparation of enlightening others about the historic market town.
Daniel said: “The younger generations are the ones who will be there in the future to circulate local history, but I am really worried that will not happen if I do not do something to help.
“I do not want the local history to die.”
The budding writer says the future publication will be entitled ‘Leighton Buzzard: A Definitive History.’
