A broken down train and overhead wire problems at Milton Keynes Central has thrown West Coast Main Line trains through Leighton Buzzard into chaos with major delays and appeals for anyone going to the Olympics to leave extra time for travelling.
There are fewer trains on all lines, affecting both London Midland and Virgin trains. London Midland say engineers will be out tonight to try and carry our repairs on the cabling.
In the mean time train services running through Leighton may be cancelled, delayed or revised at short notice.
