A CEREMONY to officially welcome a new Vicar will take place at St Johns Church, Stanbridge.
Reverend Helen Gardner’s collation and induction as Vicar of the combined Benefice of Totternhoe, Stanbridge and Tilsworth by the Bishop of St Albans will take place this evening.
The ceremony will include the formal handing over of the keys to the three churches by the Church Wardens.
Along with her husband Peter, Helen has moved from Berkhamsted to The Vicarage in Stanbridge and is looking forward to her licensing.
She said: “Peter and I are looking forward to making our home in this lovely part of Bedfordshire, getting to know the local community and serving God in each of the three villages.”
