An event to bring together the Leighton-Linslade community with the services that support it was held in the Market Square yesterday.
The Pride in Leighton Buzzard day saw Bedfordshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Olly Martins, go door-to-door as part of Operation Vision to ask people if they have any concerns about the town and to give crime prevention advice.
Other services that united to show their pride in the town included Bedfordshire Fire and Police, Leighton-Linslade Town Council, a dog warden, the police’s Bobby van and the Just Ask RAVE bus.
