Young spider boys and girls descended on Mead Open Farm last Saturday to be the first to try the brand new Sky Trail and Sky Tykes High Ropes Course.

Officially opening today, the new attraction towers over 20ft high and was designed by industry experts, Innovative Leisure.

And, as the first of its kind to be installed in a farm park in the UK it offers a unique and thrilling experience for tiny tots, children and adults alike – all ages! What makes it different from other high ropes courses is that children over 1.2 metres can enjoy the course unaccompanied.

Matt Heast, owner of Mead Open Farm, said: “We were delighted that we could be joined by the “spider kids” for the pre-launch of the Sky Trail and Sky Tykes Course.

“The children loved braving the course. The extra bonus of the Sky Tykes course means that even the little ones can get involved in the experience and this is the first of its kind that has been placed outside in Europe.”

Mead Open Farm, based at Billington, has invested around £180,000 on the Sky Trail course which will be included in the admission charge to the farm.
