The election of a new Town Mayor will take place this evening at the annual meeting of Leighton-Linslade Town Council.
Councillor Alan Brandham will step down from his post of Leighton-Linslade Mayor for 2012 to 2013.
A declaration of acceptance of office will be made by the newly elected Mayor, followed by a vote of thanks to the retiring Town Mayor.
Reporter Amanda Devlin will be attending this evening’s meeting where it will also be announced who is the deputy Mayor and new leaders of the town council.
