Leighton Town are looking for a new manager to work with a shoestring budget next season.
Paul Copson managed the team for much of last season after Craig Wells resigned, but the club are now looking at different options.
Any applications for the job are being made aware of the current financial problems at Bell Close.
A statement from the club on the matter said:
“Leighton Town FC, who currently play in the Southern League Division One Central, are inviting new applications for the position of First Team Manager.
“Interested applicants should be aware that at this point in time it would appear unlikely that there will be a budget for wages.
“Applications to: The Secretary, Leighton Town FC, Lake Street, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 1RX.”
