Aged 11-18, and want to try your hand at acting or dancing? Here is your chance to be in the spotlight!
Auditions are taking place this Friday for A Day In The Medical Room, a play by Katherine L Gate, which is set to go on stage in Leighton Buzzard.
The play is a mix of comedy, dance and song, and as a community event it is being organised to get local talent involved.
The play has three songs, two of which are courtesy of two great local songwriters Gemma Aguilar and John Young. The freelance graphic designer for this project is Stella Goddard, the choreographer of one of the songs is oerforming arts student Francesca Bindi, the co-director of the play is Chris Amos. If these names don’t ring any bells, that’s exactly what this project is all about!
Auditions will be held at the Friends Meeting House, North Street, Leighton Buzzard, on Friday, April 26, 6.30pm to 8.30pm. There is no need to prepare lines or songs, auditions will be one in the form of an informal workshop.
For more information, you can contact the author on email via a.day.in.the.medical.room@gmail.com or visit her blog: http://katherinelgate.blogspot.co.uk/ or the facebook event page: http://www.facebook.com/
There will be another chance to audition on Wednesday, May 1 (same venue and time).
