POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged by a ten pin bowling ball in the early hours of this morning (January 24).
Officers were called to Victoria Terrace, Hockliffe Road, Leighton, at 3.30am after the victim’s silver Peugeot 206 had the rear window and tailgate smashed. A distinct bowling ball was discovered on a driveway nearby and it is believed that this was used during the incident.
Officers are keen to find the owner of the bowling ball and would like to speak to anyone who was in the Hockliffe Road area at the time of the incident or may have seen the vandals.
