A granddaughter who was forced to realise the devastating effects a stroke can have on a family has stripped off to make a charity calendar.
Jayme-Lee Pablos came up with the fundraising idea after her 74-year-old nan, Angie Bass, of Nelson Road, Leighton Buzzard, suffered a stroke in October that left her struggling to speak and write ever since.
Jayme-Lee, 24, brought together 11 friends to be photographed for a calendar that has already raised a total of £1,608 for The Stroke Association.
She said: “I just wanted to raise awareness about people that have stroke.
“My nan had a stroke last month and none of the family really knew much about it.
“I couldn’t have done this without everyone’s little bit of input.”
