A series of three free workshops encouraging the unemployed and local craft people to consider becoming a market trader is taking place next Monday (November 12).
Leighton-Linslade Town Council, in conjunction with Dunstable Town Council, will be running the workshops designed to give people all the knowledge they need to set them up in business on the market.
The workshops will be of two-hour duration and will cover everything a prospective trader needs to know and consider before starting as a market trader.
Leighton-Linslade Town Council has also agreed to offer up to five £500 bursaries in year one to deserving new traders to help with essential costs such as the purchase of a stall or other necessary equipment.
The workshops will take place at The White House, Hockliffe Street, at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
Anybody who would like to attend, should call reception on 01525 631920 to book a place.
