A DRIVEN sergeant is devoting his free time to a special project that will see a restored car won by the public.
Sgt Jason Sheehan, 31, of Adastral Avenue, Leighton Buzzard, is restoring a donated 1971 MG Convertible, which will then be raffled off to raise money for Help for Heroes.
Sgt Sheehan said: “I have been doing up cars for the past ten years really and thought I could combine something I love doing and raising money for this cause.”
“I am really enjoying the project and the challenges that a 42 year old car presents.
“The more we can raise for Help for Heroes and the great work they do the better.”
