A LUCKY Leighton lifeguard is honoured to be part of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.
Ross Gregory, who is normally a lifeguard at Tiddenfoot leisure centre, was chosen out of 240,000 applicants to use his skills at the Aquatics centre and Eton Manor.
He said: ““It is an honour to actually be here in London and enjoying the Games first hand.
“I have been really enjoying myself so far, and I know there’s so much more excitement to come.
So far he has supervised Team GB’s Water Polo team and Canada’s Diving team training sessions in the run up to the Games.
