A TERRIFIED tenant woke to find the outside of her Leighton flat covered in grafitti spelling out the words “grass” and “dead” on Monday morning. A pair of Wellington boots left by the back door had also been filled with broken eggs.
Leighton Police believe the vandalism on the ground-floor Clarence Road flat took place sometime between 9pm on Sunday and 7.30am Monday.
A spokesman for Beds Police said: “This was a very distressing incident for the woman who lives there and if anyone knows about it we would urge them to get in touch.”
