DISHY Dean Dibsdall proved he was all man when he took on his toughest challenges yet to win a place in Monday’s final of Channel 4’s dating game Playing It Straight.

If the show’s star, a blonde called Cara, picks Dean, 27, from Knaves Hill, as the man of her dreams - and he admits to being straight - they will each pocket £25,000. If she chooses him and he’s gay then he gets to keep the lot.

In the semi finals the boys had to undergo two challenges. The first saw Dean forced to work with his arch enemy Sven and fellow contestant Sam to beat the other three-man team, who’d been sitting opposite them at the breakfast table, in coming up with a romantic dinner.

“If I’d known she was going to split us down the middle I would have sat opposite you!” snarled Sven to an uncomfortable Dean.

But their animosity didn’t stop Cara picking their menu after spoiling her with her favourite chocolate cheesecake.

The lads later faced Marc, a man mountain personal trainer from Spain, who put them through a rigorous assault course which saw Dean and his bromance Danny come in joint second. He was later “grilled” by Marc and Cara in a bid to get him to admit his sexuality.

At the end of the show two were eliminated to leave just four in the final - Dean, his nemesis, Sven, Danny and Sam.

Watch Monday night’s show on E4 to see if the Linslade farrier goes all the way in Playing It Straight or the Channel 4 repeat next Saturday.
