Mark Tyler: 6 – One routine save and was otherwise largely untroubled throughout.
Jonathan Smith: 7 – Got his foot in and got stuck in, plenty of energy but needed a little more quality on the ball.
Steve McNulty: 7 – Tower of strength at the back and gives Town real solidity as they kept another clean sheet.
Jon Shaw: 6 – Linked play well and gave his all, but is clearly hindered at times by his hernia problem.
Scott Griffiths: 6.5 – Give a torrid time by Norwood early on, but grew into the game and looked more assured the longer it went on.
Mark Cullen: 6.5 – Integral to Town’s best moves and forced Russell into one save that almost fell for Shaw.
Luke Guttridge: 7 – Industrious midfielder has been Town’s best performer so far this season and gives them a real cutting edge.
Shaun Whalley: 6.5 – Winger was well marshalled as his tricks failed to come off and perhaps should have delivered the ball a little earlier.
Ronnie Henry: 7 – Cut out two dangerous FGR crosses and brought real reassurance to Luton’s back four.
Andre Gray: 6.5 – Looked out of sorts when played wide in the first half, but hungry and dangerous when played through the middle in the second.
Alex Lacey: 7 – Youngster won his headers, competed physically throughout and was desperately unlucky to see his goal chalked off for offside.
Jake Howells (sub): 7 – Made a real difference when he came on and his bulldozing run almost created a winner.
Andy Parry (sub): 6 – Added a physical presence in the midfield for Luton late on as they looked to play on the break.
