A road rage incident in Wing saw the driver of a car and a female passenger allegedly assaulted by a pedestrian.
Police are appealing for the public’s help after officers were called to the pedestrian crossing in Stewkley Road at about 6pm on Saturday (July 20).
It followed reports that a pedestrian had attacked the driver of a car stopped at the crossing and one of the passengers, following an argument.
The 62-year-old man who was driving the vehicle sustained a black eye and cut lip and the 52-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car sustained bruises to her arm.
The pedestrian is described as white, aged in his 50s and was wearing a blue striped T-shirt and grey shorts. He had two children with him at the time of the incident, aged approximately five and seven, who were on scooters.
