Wiltshire Farm Foods who were previously located at the Manor Business Park in High Street South, Stewkley have now moved to the Ploughing Barns on the Soulbury Road.

The company employs 34 local people and delivers just under 14,000 meals per week to 3,000 customers in the Bucks, Beds, Herts and Middlesex areas. The company delivers a range of 250 meals and desserts to customers’ homes. The meals are frozen as soon as they are cooked in the large modern kitchens in Trowbridge, Wiltshire to keep the flavour and nutrients locked in. The aim of the home delivery service is to enable more people to stay well-nourished and independent in their own homes.

The move involved using resources from other local businesses such as builders, plumbers, potters for personalised staff cups and catering and flowers for the opening party.

The company offers a collection option for local residents and special offer meal packs are available for all Bucks residents.

Managing director Chris Mainwaring said: “The move has allowed us to expand our operation into a 2,600sq ft freezer and larger offices and we are delighted that we have been able to invest locally and stay in Stewkley.”
