Bedfordshire U15s, with players from Ampthill, Bedford, Biggleswade, Stockwood Park, Luton and Leighton Buzzard, travelled to Daventry to play in their third quadrangle championship.
Looking to become third time winners, the day started with a 15-15 draw against Northants Alliance with tries from Harry Sawford-Smith, Jamie Prosser and Jacob Ives.
The second match saw East Northants beaten 15-15 as Callum Cunningham, Cameron Furneaux and Kacper Franczak all crossed.
Hunts and Peterborough were then defeated 20-5 as Nathan Taylor, Cunningham, Prosser and Franczak all crossed the line.
Overall victory went to Alliance though as they won two and drew one, but triumphed due to more tries scored.
The day was used by East Midlands U16s’ coaches as a selection process and they will decide which players to select for trials. commitment to the sport.”
