A series of books claiming to be written by a retired assassin are set to win a global audience after getting international backing.
The first three Assassination Diaries, purported written by Maddy the Assassin, which are produced by Leighton Buzzard-based Next Century Books,are now on sale in airports throughout the United Arab Emerites.
The Oligarch, the latest episode, was launched just days before Boris Berezovsky, the controversial British based Oligarch, was found dead in his bath.
Until now the tales, first person diaries describing a series of criminally or politically motivated assassinations, were only available on ebooks but the UAE deal has mean they can now be published. Locally the books, with their distinctive red covers, are for sale in Book Delight, High Street Mews, Leighton and Waterstones, MK.
In The Oligarch Maddy, the self-proclaimed assassin, uses her sexual skills and martial arts techniques to take on the most powerful and ruthless people in the cut-throat, Wild West world of Russian business.
