It was results day today for the villages surrounding Leighton as to who would be representing their ward in Bucks County Council.
And as the votes were counted, candiates for Great Brickhill, Ivinghoe and Wing waited to hear their fate.
The result was the returning faces of Conservative Netta Glover for Wing with 920 votes (34.4%) and Ivinghoe voted Avril Davies back in for Lib Dems with 1032 votes (38.1%).
But for Great Brickhill, it was Janet Blake (Con) who stole over half the votes with 1406 (50.4%) to keep maintain a Conservative seat in the village.
