Town boss John Still is not anticipating selling forward Andre Gray during the summer, writes Mike Simmonds.
The 21-year-old ended the campaign on fire, scoring six in his last six games to finish with 20 goals.
Gray, who was heavily linked with a move to Millwall last season despite signing a new contract, will no doubt attract interest once the transfer window re-opens, but Still said: “I hope he does, he’s a young man who wants to do well. If he’s scoring goals for us, other people are going to take notice, that’s natural progression.
“But we’re not a club that’s looking to move players on. We’re a club looking to rebuild and I think that will be very important next year.
“We’re going to be trying to push further forward and not sell assets.”
