It was fitting that Wing-based Style Hair and Beauty celebrated its 25th anniversary by taking all the staff to a Milton Keynes Theatre performance of toe-tapping musical Hairspray!
Owner and inspiration behind Style, Tracey Passantino, shares more than just her first name with the ambitious and energetic lead in the show, who goes all out to fulfil her dream.
She said: “I always wanted to be a hairdresser and have my own salon, and leaving my job as manager of a salon in Leighton Buzzard to start my own business in Wing was a dream come true. I just can’t believe it was 25 years ago on the 18th of this month”, she said.
Over the years, Tracey and her husband and co-owner, Toni, who was also born in Leighton Buzzard have expanded the salon to five times its original size and now offer an extensive range of haircare, beauty and day treatments. “It’s been hard work, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way”, said Tracey.
“We have some fantastic and very loyal clients and great staff and like the show, we offer the highest quality and good humour!”
Style is offering promotions and free gifts over the next few weeks to continue their anniversary celebrations.
