Are you an aspiring fashion or music journalist looking for work experience?
The Luton News and Herald & Post are looking for people interested in journalism to be roving reporters during Bedfordshire Music and Fashion Week (BMFW).
The first ever BMFW takes place from July 8-12 this year, and will feature catwalk shows by local designers, pop-up boutiques and gigs in Luton.
Being a roving reporter will involve interviewing designers, models, musicians, retailers and the general public, and writing articles for the lutontoday.co.uk website and the papers.
Blogs will be uploaded daily to the websites and reporters will be expected to tweet photos, videos and news throughout each day.
You need to be confident, energetic and hardworking. Previous journalistic experience is not essential as long as you’re enthusiastic.
There’s no need to commit to the whole week - you can do as much as you are able to, from a few hours to a few days.
Over 18s only. To apply email connie.primmer@jpress.co.uk with your details and a few lines about why you’d like to be a Music and Fashion Week roving reporter and what would make you the ideal person for the role.
