Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a car was damaged by a ten pin bowling ball in the early hours of Tuesday morning (January 24).

Officers were called to Victoria Terrace, Hockliffe Road, Leighton Buzzard at 3.30am after the victim’s silver Peugeot 206 had the rear window and tailgate smashed. A distinct bowling ball was discovered on a driveway nearby and it is believed that this was used during the incident.

Officers are keen to locate the owner of the bowling ball and would like to speak with anyone who was in the Hockliffe Road area at the time of the incident or may have seen the offender or offenders.
