Police in Leighton thanked the public for their help after a missing pensioner was found in the town a day after she went missing.
Olive Langham, 75, from Russell Way, had not been seen by her family since Thursday night. She was reported missing from her home on Friday morning and it was feared that she had gone out in sub-zero temperatures without her handbag or any coat.
She was spotted by a member of the public on Friday night.
“She is now safely back with her family. Thank you to everyone who helped with the search,” said a police spokesman.
