Mark Tyler: 5 – No chance with either goal but didn’t command his area.
Greg Taylor: 4 – A night to forget as he struggled all evening and gave away the decisive penalty.
Steve McNulty: 5 – Won his fair share of balls forward but wasn’t the dominant force Luton needed.
Alex Lawless: 5 – Forced off in the first half and nowhere near his normal level.
Jake Howells: 7.5 – The Wales U21 international came out with real credit, scored the goal, drive forward and showed real, energy, fight and endeavour with little support around him.
JJ O’Donnell: 4 – Ineffectual all evening as his ghost-like performance made no impression at all.
Jonathan Smith: 5 – Plenty of huffing and puffing, but didn’t win much ball and lacked guile.
Ronnie Henry: 5 – Skipper put in a few decent crosses and was evidently frustrated by his side’s performance.
Alex Wall: 6 – Made a nuisance of himself as he showed signs of promise up front, but did miss a gilt-edged chance at 1-0 down.
Andre Gray: 5.5 – Plenty of pace and still a threat, but no end product and spurned a great chance.
Jake Goodman: 5 – Youngster stuck to his task, but too lightweight.
Dan Walker (sub): 4.5 – Glimpses of promise, but faded out of the game as Luton drifted.
David Martin (sub): 4.5 – Winger made nothing like the impact he did at the weekend.
Lathaniel Rowe-Turner (sub): 4.5 – Came on for the struggling Taylor, but by that points it was a thankless task.
