THERE’S no snoozing in rehearsals when Sleeping Beauty makes its entrance at Wing Village Hall next week. The script for this unusual interpretation of Sleeping Beauty was written by Jason Gregory.
Many years ago, in a kingdom far, far away, a beautiful princess was born. The sun rose early that morning just to see her, so lovely was she. The beautiful baby girl was the only child of Ron, King of Wessex and his wife, Lauren, Queen of.........Essex!
The tale is a mixture of folklore and pantomime, with romance, mayhem and confusion to spice the mix.
Sit back, relax and remember to jeer the baddies, cheer the goodies, and cross your fingers for a happy ending.
This is a traditional production with fun for all the family. Running from Thursday, January 26 until Saturday (28th). For tickets call Jenni 01296 681849 or visit http://www.ticketsource.co.uk
