Mark Tyler: 8 – Pulled off two great saves to keep Norwich out, but was indebted to Lawless for denying Barnett.

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner: 7.5 – Great athletic defensive display and put his body on the line for the cause.

Greg Taylor: 7 – Pinned right back by overlapping captain Martin, but defended resolutely.

Janos Kovacs: 7.5 – Faced real competition in the air but refused to give an inch even when Holt was introduced.

Alex Lawless: 8 – Was Luton’s most attack-minded midfielder and was oh so close with his snap volley.

Jon Shaw: 7 – Well marshalled by City’s backline but helped Town to defend from the front.

Jake Howells: 8 – Best performance in a long time and caused the Canaries some concern on the left.

Arnaud Mendy: 7.5 – Gave the midfield some steel, but was sacrificed as he began to tire.

Jonathan Smith: 7.5 – Slightly sloppy in possession at times but was a tireless runner in the middle to close Norwich down.

Ronnie Henry: 7.5 – Captain’s performance, no nonsense at the back and sent in some testing crosses.

Andre Gray: 7 – Often isolated and his touch let home down at times, but gave Norwich plenty to think about.

JJ O’Donnell (sub): 7 – Energy made a real difference and showed maturity and composure beyond his years to set up the winner.

Scott Rendell (sub): 7.5 – Made a massive impact, led the line well, cleverly found space and netted the magical winner.

Stuart Fleetwood (sub): 7 – Got right at the Canaries from the moment he came on and started the move for Luton’s winner.
