Hatters’ trip to Nuneaton Town on Saturday is in severe doubt after the hosts confirmed the pitch had already frozen over.
A statment on Boro’s official website yesterday said: “Looking out over the pitch at the Triton Showers Community Arena, the sight remains the same as it has all week – a frozen and unplayable surface.
“With more snow forecast on Friday, Boro is reluctantly contemplating the possibility of a second home fixture postponed within the last few weeks.
“We will provide a pitch update and team news as soon as it is available on Friday.”
