Managing director Gary Sweet has rubbished claims made by former player Aaron O’Connor that a number of Town’s stars have been told they can leave, writes Mark Wood.
The Newport forward recently tweeted: “Spoke to a few of my boys & ex team mates, n cannot believe some of the players that have been told they can leave luton.#Come&JoinMeNOW ?”
But Sweet said: “We haven’t told players they can leave the club.
“I’ve got a lot of time for Aaron, he’s a great lad, but what he’s put is completely irrelevant.”
