As everyone looks ahead to 2013 a Leighton-Lindslade fundraising group would like to hear from those who are considering to make resolutions to try something different in the new year.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is holding a coffee morning on Saturday, January 12 at 10.30am to offer anyone who is interested in getting involved with fundraising the opportunity to find out more about the charity and what they do.
Marie Curie Cancer Care provides free nursing care and support at home to terminally ill people in the area.
The group would also like to welcome anyone who presently collects for the charity to come along and have a cup of coffee or tea and a piece of homemade cake so they can meet others in the team.
The meeting will be held at 33 Delta House, Hockliffe Street, next to the Baptist Church hall and near the entrance to the library car park.
The group’s annual meeting will follow at 11.15am if anyone would like to stay, but everyone is free to drop in around 10.30am to have a chat along with some refreshments.
