A new tailoring concept is being offered to people in Leighton-Linslade and on Wednesday night they had their first chance to see what was on offer from William Young of London.
The company set up shop in The Green House cafe, in Leighton’s Market Square, to host a reception that allowed the suited and booted to get the measure of the Berkhamsted-based firm.
Instead of visiting the tailors when you want a new suit. They will come to you whether it’s in the office or at home.
Company spokesman, Willie Renner, said: “We are offer a traveling tailoring service for Leighton where we will see clients in the offices or at their homes. We aim to work around our clients at times that suit them. At present we offer an appointment based service through our website or direct contact.
“The business is based in Berkhamsted. However I live in Leighton and feel that there is a need for this type of personal tailoring service that can be brought to the customer’s doorstep. It’s like bringing Savile Row to your living room.”
