Have a laugh with some slapstick Whittington fun

Dave Lovesy and Dave Pibworth are back in the saddle again for the MK Theatre of Comedy pantomime, Dick Whittington.

Dave Lovesy will be playing the role of Dame Sarah, mother of Dick Whittington, while Dave Pibworth takes on the role of King Rat, so immediately you have some one to cheer and someone to boo!

Lovesy and Pibworth – both local men – go back a long way in Milton Keynes, having met at the Madcap at Wolverton too many years ago for either of them to recall the exact year, and formed various comedy shows which inevitably ended up with them hitting one another and allowing Lovesy to take the tremendous falls for which he is noted.

Both have a very close connection with Dick Whittington, Lovesy having written the script with his colleagues from TLC Creative and Pibworth directing the show. The combination of this means that there will be a huge amount of slapstick and fun within the show.

All of the cast and production team are from the local area, with the stage management coming from MK College thus bringing new blood into the team of MK Theatre of Comedy who have previously produced sell-out productions of Fawlty Towers, and The Vicar of Dibley amongst many other.

It takes place at the brand new venue beside Walton High School, a 380-seat venue.

Tickets are at £10 and £13 and the show runs between December 19 and 30. For dates, times and details see www.mktoc.co.uk
