It turns out the millions of viewers who love to tune into celebrities eating jungle cuisine didn’t want MP Nadine Dorries to be on their screens as she was first to be booted out of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
ITV1 reality show viewers didn’t seem to see the funny side to Mid Bedfordshire’s MP leaving her constituents to live with 11 other celebrities, so voted her out at the first opportunity.
Nadine was quickly followed by Leighton’s Kajagoogoo frontman Limahl, pictured, who lost out in the public vote to Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor.
As he greeted Ant and Dec after his eviction, Limahl joked about the lack of the ‘gay vote’ stopping him from carrying on in the competition.
He even laughed with the presenters over the fact entering the show late was a disadvantage and said: “I came in late to Kajagoogoo and they fired me!”
Joking aside, he also spoke about his tough experiences during the show. He said: “It’s really a test. Being away from your loved ones and home comforts. The test of the other personalities was the biggest test and the biggest surprise.”
