Bedfordshire police are appealing for information about a 57-year-old man who left his home in Leighton Buzzard without explanation on Friday afternoon (October 26).
Mark Buckoake of Meadow Way, Leighton Buzzard, was last seen on Friday at 2.30pm.
Police are becoming increasingly concerned about Mark’s wellbeing as he has threatened to harm himself in the past.
He has not told anyone that he was going away and does not appear to have taken any bank cards or clothes with him.
Mark is described as a 57 year old white man, 6’ tall, with a slim build and short grey hair, a pale complexion, and blue eyes.
Detective Inspector Sandra Evans, leading the investigation in to Mark’s whereabouts, would like to urge members of the public to help trace him.
DI Evans said: “We know Mark has family connections in the Hemel Hempstead area and I would urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward and speak to the police. We can then ensure Mark receives all the support and care he needs.”
Anyone with information relating to Mark’s whereabouts is asked to contact Bedfordshire Police, urgently, on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
