Children of all ages can enjoy some half term fun when The Selfish Crocodile comes to Leighton Theatre on Monday, October 29.

Blunderbus are bringing the show to the Lake Street venue and it’s a superb show for families with young children.

Based on the best-selling picture book by Faustin Charles and Mike Terry it tells the story of a very nasty croc. Deep in the forest, by the banks of a great river, lives a large crocodile who won’t share the river with any of the other creatures. He thought it was HIS river! So, the animals stayed away.

But, one day there was a terrible scream, - the crocodile had a toothache. Nobody dared to help him, until a brave little mouse found a clever way to solve this snappy dilemma.

This is a funny, heart-warming tale with a very happy ending, which reminds us all that the smallest act of kindness often has the greatest impact.

The storytellers use song, music and a host of beautiful puppets to bring this watery adventure to life. This is a must-see for three to seven-year-olds.

There are two performances: At 11am and 2pm. for tickets call the box office 0300 300 8125.
