Leighton’s Citizens’ Advice Bureau is supporting Big Energy Saving Week (October 22-27) to help people prepare for winter.
Advisers will be helping people save money on their energy bills, get advice on any fuel debts and make sure people are getting all the help available.
There are some simple steps you can take to reduce the size of your energy bill.
CHECK – are you are getting the best deal and are you on the cheapest way to pay your bill. You could save up to £100 if you pay by direct debit.
SWITCH – look at other energy suppliers to find a better deal. If you have never switched before then you could save up to £200.
INSULATE – Save up to £160 by making sure your home is properly insulated.
During Big Energy Saving Week you can get more advice on lowering your bills by visiting Leighton-Linslade Citizens Advice Bureau at Bossard House, West Street, or visit www.bigenergysavingweek.org.uk.
